About Us

The Ceredigion Care Society was formed in 1971 and is a registered Charity. We provide a number of services throughout the county of Ceredigion concentrating on Housing and Homelessness issues.  

The majority of the schemes that have been developed by the Ceredigion Care Society were in direct response to concerns about growing numbers of single rough sleepers and 'hidden' homelessness throughout the county. 

The main objectives of the organisation are "the relief of poverty and sickness and the advancement of education and training, especially amongst persons in need by way of their being homeless, threatened with homelessness or living in inadequate accommodation".

We are primarily funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and work closely with the Local Authority and other statutory and voluntary agencies.
