Emergency Accommodation

Cymdeithas Gofal Ceredigion has been managing Emergency Accommodation units on behalf of the Local Authority since 2005.  The clients accessing the service are homeless, having been referred by the Local Authority. This could be under a statutory power, after satisfying priority status or when priority status is under investigation. The provision is based throughout Ceredigion.

What services do we provide?

Each emergency accommodation property provides individual rooms with shared cooking and washing facilities. Most clients are single people but we can accommodate couples if space allows.

Staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to look after the needs of the residents.

We also have Support Workers whose role is to provide help and advice to residents in addressing their specific needs.  They also assist residents in finding more permanent accommodation.
